This role is for one of our clients, seeking a detail-oriented and forward-thinking Compliance & Controls AI Expert to join our finance and risk team.

Job Details

• Job Type: Part-time / Contract
• Location: US, UK, Canada, France, Portugal (remote)
• Commitment: 20 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize AI-powered solutions to support financial compliance and control processes
• Collaborate closely with finance, audit, and technology teams to strengthen internal control frameworks
• Support internal and external audits using AI tools to streamline audit preparation, documentation, and evidence gathering
• Focus on complex accounting areas, including revenue recognition and lease accounting processes

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS standards
• Proven experience in internal controls design, testing, and audit support
• Hands-on experience with revenue recognition and lease accounting processes
• Familiarity with AI, data analytics, or automation tools in finance
• Ability to translate accounting requirements into scalable, technology-driven solutions
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
